I've got an i7 and 24gigs of ram, when you're printing plans for an entire casino being built, plus dealing with the CAD files. (ok, we use MY computer the most to build the hp files. Except the ONE pc thats in the same room as the Smartstream. Refreshed every pc, they all can find the printer now, and the license manager on the network, and use Smartstream. (Should have been done that way to begin with, blame the people who sold us the unit & installed for that). Before 'nuking' the pc, we backed up the license files and moved them onto our server instead. Now, this is the original computer that the Smartstream and license manager was installed on. Our Win10, Win8, and other Win7 computers. Recently we started having an error on ONE of our win7 computers with Smartstream. I work at an Engineering Print company, we have a Kip 7970, several Canon ipf series (8300, 800 series, 760) and an HP Pagewide 8000XL.
